About the ChefOriginally from The east of France, a small town in the Lorraine Region, classically French trained chef Daniel traveled the globe working in many different countries. Starting in Switzerland , then Scotland , England, Jamaica and The Philippines.

Moving to the US in the 1980's he worked for Westin Hotels in Dallas. Residing in Hawaii for the last 20 years Chef Daniel worked as Executive Chef at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, Chef owner at The Palm Cafe Restaurant in Kona, Director of culinary services at the Royal Kona Resort. Then moved to Waimea to open Daniel Thiebaut Restaurant.

Most recently he has started his own private chef/personalized catering business," Chef Daniel's Catering". Designed to create gourmet menus, and provide an unforgettable dining experience using only the freshest organic local produce. Familiar with all the local merchants from the island, he can create menus in various styles to suit your taste. Enjoy the best fish, meat or vegetarian dishes in the style of your choice.
